Free International Women’s Day event, Orange, Sunday 8 March

The Rural Women’s Network and Orange City Council along with a range of local services are pleased to host a free afternoon of inspiration and fun for women to mark International Women’s Day on Sunday 8 March from 2-6pm at the Orange Function Centre.

The evenet features motivational and inspirational speaker Julie Cross will inspire you to find your passion and sparkle as well as Atahlia Sutherland, the Orange High student who sang from the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Australia Day. Robyn Robertson from Bathurst’s Red Chair Boutique will share some simple wardrobe techniques. A highlight of the afternoon will be the showcase of emerging local women’s business stalls.

Light refreshments will be provided. Local women are encouraged to wear national costume to celebrate and recognise Australia’s multicultural community or wear the International Women’s Day theme colours of green, white, purple and gold.
