A rural retreat for women attending the NSW Rural Women’s Gathering @ Coolamon

What a wonderful weekend spent in Coolamon last weekend for the annual NSW Rural Women’s Gathering. The Committee did an amazing job putting together this wonderful weekend of activities which featured a wonderful array of guest speakers, lots of interesting workshops (I did Zoe Lamont’s 10thousandgirl ‘Money Maker’ workshop and it was 10/10) and fabulous entertainment.

A highlight of the weekend was NSW Minister for Primary Industries Katrina Hodgkinson showing her support by officially opening the event and launching the 2014 Hidden Treasures Honour Roll which recognises 153 inspirational rural women volunteers.

If you didn’t get to the Gathering this year, mark your diary for the 2015 Gathering at Glen Innes on 9-11 October.

We will have more stories to come but in the meantime here’s a little snapshot of the weekend.
