Rural women play an extremely important role in ensuring the survival of many important community groups across all our regions including charities, emergency services, the arts, environment, social justice, education and sporting organisations.

So many volunteers do not seek the limelight and go about their work quietly and diligently, but Hidden Treasures is an important opportunity as a community to say thank you to some outstanding women.

Nominating a rural woman is easy. Simply go to the Rural Women’s Network website, complete your nomination online or download a nomination form and share with us a few paragraphs about why your nominee is worthy.

All rural women nominated will be included in the 2014 Honour Roll to be launched at the 2014 NSW Rural Women’s Gathering being held at Coolamon from 12-14 September.

For more information or if you need assistance with your nomination call the  Rural Women’s Network on 02  63913620 or email: rural.women@dpi.nsw.gov.au
