WANTED: Rural Women Connect is looking for NSW women keen to have a voice

The Rural Women’s Network (RWN) wants to link with women who keen to share ideas and help us improve our understanding of regional needs and how we can best work together to address these and continually improve RWN services.

The Rural Women Connect commitment will be for three years starting in 2013. We aim to use phone and computer technology as much as possible to ensure distance is not a barrier to participation.
Regions are loosely defined as North/Mid Coast; South Coast/Snowy Mountain; Central West; South West; North West/Outback; and New England.

If you would like to work with us please email rural.women@dpi.nsw.gov.au and include your contact details, tell us why you would like to be a part of Rural Women Connect (no more than 500 words) and the region you could represent. Also include a list of any networks/organisations you tap into.

Expressions of interest close 30 November 2012.

For more information contact Sonia Muir on 02 6391 3611 or sonia.muir@dpi.nsw.gov.au

“Through recognition and connection we can empower rural women.”
