From the Gloucester Advocate:

Gloucester hosted the NSW Rural Women’s Gathering which was a huge success. Women gathered to enjoy friendship, learn new skills and listen to guest speakers. Many ladies travelled to Gloucester which was a new area to visit. Parkes are to host the 2012 Women’s Gathering. This will be the 20th Rural Gathering so a great celebration for ladies and The Rural Women’s Network.

The Parkes Gathering will be held on October 12, 13 and 14. Many Gloucester ladies (and men) have shown interest and would like to attend the Parkes’ Gathering. Parkes has a theme for the Gathering, Reach, Engage, Achieve and Dream, they have also engaged as special guest speaker Jessica Rowe, news reader on weekend Sunrise.
