Countdown for NSW RIRDC Rural Women’s Award finalists

February 21 we will know who will be the NSW RIRDC Rural Women’s Award winner… and the two finalists are most impressive.

Corinne Annetts runs a boutique goat enterprise in the New England area and Danica Leys is responsible for establishing AgChatOz. I have yet to take part in their weekly Tuesday Twitter chats but it is on my agenda!

I really feel like we have been cheated of a summer this year and living in a cold place like Orange this can certainly be a drag.

As my Scottish father in law says “Glasgow has four months of winter and 8 months of bad weather!” I think the same can be said of Orange.

I don’t know about you but I am starting to feel like a duck with all this rain!!!

I hope all those in flood affected areas are safely on higher ground.
